- Subject to such instructions as may be issued by the Board and the Finance Committee, he shall examine the budgets of all registered wakfs whose income exceeds one hundred rupees per annum, return them for amendment or sanction them with or without any modification, provided that the modifications shall not be inconsistent with the wishes of the wakf concerned so far as such wishes can be ascertained.
