Section 5(2)(iii) in Andhra Pradesh Common Entrance Test for entry into Engineering, Architecture, Pharmacy, Agriculture, Medical and Dental Courses Rules, 2004

(iii)In case of candidates getting equal marks in each of the three subjects they shall be bracketed for purpose of award of ranking and at the time of admissions, the total percentage of marks secured by the candidates in the qualifying examination shall be taken into consideration.
