Section 37 in The Government Of Union Territories Act, 1963

37. Courts not to inquire into proceedings of Legislative Assembly.

-- (1) The validity of any proceedings in the Legislative Assembly of [the Union territory] [Substituted by Act 18 of 1987, Section 65, for "a Union territory" (w.e.f. 30-5-1987)] shall not be called in question on the ground of any alleged irregularity of procedure.
(2)No officer or member of the Legislative [the Union territory] [Substituted by Act 18 of 1987, Section 65, for "a Union territory" (w.e.f. 30-5-1987)] in whom powers are vested by or under this Act for regulating procedure or the conduct of business, or for maintaining order in the Legislative Assembly shall be subject to the jurisdiction of any court in respect of the exercise by him of those powers.
