(1)The Senate shall be the supreme authority of the University and shall have the power to review the action of the Syndicate and the Academic Council save were the Syndicate or the Academic Council has acted in accordance with the powers conferred upon it under this Act, the statutes, the Ordinances or the Regulations, and shall exercise all the powers of the University not otherwise provided for by this Act or the Statutes:Provided that if any question arises as to whether the Syndicate or the Academic council has acted in accordance with such powers as aforesaid or not, the question shall be decided by the Chancellor and his decision shall be final.
