(5)All property, whether movable or immovable, including lands buildings, equipments, books and library and all rights of whatsoever kind owned by or vested in, or held in trust by immediately before the notified date, the Chennai University at the University Centre at Salem as well as all liabilities legally subsisting against that University at that Centre shall stand transferred to, and vest in, the Periyar University.
