1. We have perused our Order dated 4th May, 2021.
2. The letter written by the Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forests & Nodal Officer dated 20th May, 2021 to the Principal Secretary (Forests), Revenue and Forest Department, Mantralaya, Mumbai as well as the letter dated 28th June, 2021 written by the Chief Conservator of Forests (Mantralaya) to the Regional Officer (Central), Government of India Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate PA-Nitin Jagtap 2 / 2 32-IA-2214-2021.doc Change, Integrated Regional Office, Ground Floor, East Wing, New Secretariat, Building, Civil Lines, Nagpur are not in consonance with our Order dated 4th May, 2021. In fact, the contents of the letter dated 20th May, 2021 shows that an attempt has been made to undo what we have done by our Order dated 4th May, 2021.
3. Today, Mr.Naresh Zurmure, Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forests & Nodal Officer who is present in Court states that he unconditionally withdraws paragraphs 2.0 to 11.0 of his letter dated 20th May, 2021. He further states that the letter dated 28th June, 2021 addressed to the Regional Officer (Central), Government of India Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change, Integrated Regional Office, Ground Floor, East Wing, New Secretariat, Building, Civil Lines, Nagpur will accordingly be corrected and a fresh letter will be sent to the Regional Officer (Central).
4. The above statements are accepted. The necessary letters / documents required to be sent to the Regional Officer (Central), Government of India, Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change shall be sent within a period of two weeks from today. The Central Government shall endeavour to pass orders within a period of four weeks thereafter.
5. The above Interim Application is accordingly disposed off.
