30. Appointment of teachers by the Sanskrit University Council.
(1)Notwithstanding anything contained in section 28, until the constitution of a Selection Committee referred to therein, a University Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor shall be appointed by the Sanskrit University Council, referred to in sub-section (1) of section 58 on the recommendation of a Selection Committee constituted by the State Government and consisting of the Vice-Chancellor as Chairman, a nominee of the Chancellor, a nominee of the State Government, and a nominee of the Council, who shall be the subject expert having special knowledge of the subject which the Professor or the Associate Professor or the Assistant Professor, as the case may be, will teach.(2)If the Sanskrit College and University Council does not accept the recommendation of the Selection Committee the provision of sub-section (2) of section 29 shall apply mutatis mutandis.
