Section 5 in The Coinage of One Hundred Twenty Five Rupees and Five Rupees Coins to mark the Occasion of 125th Birth Anniversary of Jawaharlal Nehru Rules, 2014

5. Standard weight and remedy allowed.

- The Standard weight of the coins of the following denominations, coined to commemorate the occasion of "125th Birth Anniversary of Jawarharlal Nehru" and the remedy allowed in making of such coins shall be as specified in the Table below :-

Five Rupees 6 Grams 1/100thplus or minus for Copper and Zinc, thatis to say Copper could vary from 74 per cent to 76 per cent. andZinc from 19 per cent to 21 per cent and 1/200thplusor minus for Nickel that is to say Nickel could vary from 4.5 percent 5.5 per cent. 1/40thplus or minus, that is to say, the weightcould vary from 5.85 grams to 6.15 grams.
