(8)In case the office of the President is declared vacant under the Act, the Councillor nominated by the Government under sub-section (2) of Section 37 to perform the duties of the President or a person who is elected for the office of the President, as the case may be, either allow the existing members of the President-in-Council to continue or appoint new members in place of them from amongst the elected Councillors.] [Substituted by M.P.
