Section 378(2) in Gauhati Municipal Corporation Act, 1971
(2)Except as otherwise provided in this Act or any rule or bye-law made thereunder, for every such license or written permission a fee may be charged at such rate as may from time to time be fixed by the Corporation and such fee shall be payable by the person to whom the licence or written permission is granted.
