Having regard to the nature of the application, we have heard learned counsel for the parties and are satisfied that the applicant has adequately __________________________________________________________________________________ CONC No. 72/2018 page 2 of 2 2 explained the circumstances in which the delay had occasioned in filing the present appeal. The delay in filing the appeal is condoned.

Mr. M.A.Dar accepts notice on behalf of the respondent. We have heard Mr. Altaf Haqani, learned counsel for the appellant as well as Mr. M.A.Dar, learned counsel for the respondent.
Mr. Altaf Haqani, learned counsel for the appellant informs us that the appellant has deposited 25% of the amount awarded by the impugned award dated 2nd August, 2018, as required by the Statute, with the State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission. Certificate in proof thereof is enclosed.
In view thereof, there shall be a stay of the deposit of the remaining amount till further orders.
