Section 1 in The Orissa Forest Produce (Control of Trade) Act, 1981
1. Short title, extent and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the Orissa Forest Produce (Control of Trade) Act, 1981.(2)It extends to the whole of the State of Orissa.(3)It shall come into force in such area or areas and in relation to such forest produce and on such [date or dates] [The Act came into force at once in the whole of the State at once in relation to sal seeds, vide Orissa Gazette Extraordinary No. 1744/9.12.1982.] as the State Government may, from time to time, by notification, specify in this behalf.
