Section 2(b) in The U.P. Electricity (Regulation of Distribution and Consumption) Order, 1972
(b)the expressions 'shop' and 'commercial establishment' have respectively the meanings assigned to them in the Uttar Pradesh Dookan Aur Vanijya Adhisthan Adhiniyam, 1962, but, except in clause (10), do not include shops and commercial establishments to which that Act does not apply.
