Section 75(1) in The Maharashtra Agricultural Universities (Krishi Vidyapeeths) Statutes, 1990
(1)Selection Committee constituted in accordance with the provisions of sub-section (1) of section 58, for selection to the post of Associate Professor/Reader, Assistant Professor, Lecturers and their equivalent posts shall consist of the following members, viz.:-(i)The Vice-Chancellor;(ii)One Director of the University by rotation;(iii)Member of the Executive Council representing Indian Council of Agriculture Research;(iv)One Dean of University by rotation;(v)Three outside Experts to be nominated by the Vice-Chancellor out of the panel of six names of persons recommended by the Academic Council who have special knowledge of the subject for which the academic staff member is selected.
