Section 28 in The Karnataka Private Medical Establishments Act, 2007
28. Repeal and Savings.
(1)The Karnataka Private Nursing Homes (Regulation) Act, 1976 (Karnataka Act 75 of 1976) is hereby repealed.(2)Notwithstanding such repeal,-(a)anything done or any action taken under the repealed Act shall be deemed to have been done or taken under the corresponding provisions of this Act;(b)all applications made under the repealed Act for registration or renewal prior to the commencement of this Act and pending consideration on the date of commencement of this Act shall abate and the fee paid, if any, in respect of such application shall be refunded to the applicant and such applicants may apply afresh for Registration under the provisions of this Act.
