Section 10 in Merchant Shipping (Seafarer Accommodation) Rules, 2016
(10)Drainage. - (a) In every ship to which these rules apply, efficient drainage shall be provided for every part of the seafarer accommodation situated on an open deck wherever such drainage is necessary for clearing water shipped from the sea.(b)There shall be no drainage from any source (not being sanitary accommodation) into the sanitary accommodation forming part of the seafarer accommodation.
