Section 1 in Andhra Pradesh Control of Organised Crime Act, 2001
1. Short title, extent and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the Andhra Pradesh Control of Organised Crime Act, 2001.(2)It extends to the whole of the State of Andhra Pradesh.(3)It shall come into force at once on such date as the State Government may, by notification, in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette, appoint.(4)It shall remain in force for a period of three years from the date of coming into force.
