Background
Vide RTI application dated 18.12.2008, Sh. Amit Kumar (herein after called the appellant) sought information on 21 points regarding transfers, appointments and the functioning of the Office of the I.G.F.R.I., RRC, Palam Pur, (H.P.) and several issued connected therewith. The Public Information officer and the FAA provided point wise information to the appellant. However dissatisfied with the reply of the respondents, the appellant has filed a second appeal before the Commission.
2. The matter was heard on 9.12.2009.
3. The appellant was not present for the hearing.
4. Sh. K. A. Singh, Appellate Authority and Sh. Vishwa Ranjan, PIO represented the respondent.
During the hearing the respondents submit that they have provided the point- wise information, available on the record. to the appellant and that they are always ready to provide the information under the provisions of the RTI Act. 2005.
Decision After examining the RTI application of the appellant and the replies of the respondents, the Commission finds that on almost all the points information has been provided, except on point no. 8, 10, 16, 17(d) & 21 of the RTI Application of the appellant. The respondents are directed to revisit the matter and provide correct information on point no. 8, 10, 16, 17(d) and regarding point no. 21, the respondents are directed to inform the appellant regarding the tenure of the technical personnel at Regional Centres mentioned in the RTI Application.
The matter is disposed off subject to the above direction.
