Section 5(4)(a) in Professional Diploma Courses of Engineering and Technology (Regulation of Admission and Payment of Fees) Rules, 2013

(a)A candidate whose parents are origin of Gujarat and who is living outside India and have passed the qualifying examination from outside India shall be eligible for admission, and his candidature shall be included in the merit list prepared in accordance with the provisions of rule 10, subject to the condition that he shall produce equivalence certificate of Association of Indian University, New Delhi and his parents' domicile certificate.
