8. Constitution of Committees for the first time.
- [Sections 12 (4) and 43 (2) (i)]. - [(1) Where a Committee is to be constituted for the first time under sub-section (4) of section 12, the concerned District Mandi Officer shall send to the Secretary of the Board a panel of names equal to double the names of members to be nominated for onward transmission to the State Government for nomination] [Substituted vide Notification No. 11 (13)-M-III. 83/9379 dated 4th May, 1988.](1A)[ The panel of names received under sub-rule (1) shall not be binding upon the State Government.] [See by Punjab Government Gazette dated 8.12.76.]
