Section 1260(a) in Police Regulations, Bengal , 1943
(a)The grant for ordinary annual repairs in the district budget under contract contingencies is calculated at the rate of Rs. 250 for each police-station. Rs. 100 for each outpost, and Rs. 350 for each Reserve lines. This grant is calculated on a fixed sum for each class of building, but exactly this sum need not be spent on each building. The sum allotted shall be distributed so as to keep all buildings in the best possible state of repair, more one year and less another, as ma}' be found necessary. No further sanction is required to the disbursement of the grant. Clear specifications and estimates of repairs required shall be made out in all cases and distinct orders given for the execution of such repairs.
