श्री अधीर रंजन चौधरी : सर,एडजर्नमेंट मोशन देने का हमारा मकसद था कि जम्मू-कश्मीर एक कैदखाना बन चुका है, जहां पिछले कई दिनों से इस तरह की हलचल मची हुई है, जो पहले कभी नहीं देखी गयी थी । सर, जम्मू-कश्मीर में साढ़े चार लाख से पांच लाख तक हमारे फौजी तैनात हैं …(व्यवधान) फिर भी अमरनाथ जी की यात्रा पर जाने वाले तीर्थयात्रियों को जाने की इजाजत नहीं है । माछिल में दुर्गा मंदिर जाने की तीर्थयात्रियों को इजाजत नहीं है ।…(व्यवधान)

श्री अधीर रंजन चौधरी : जम्मू-कश्मीर में क्या हो गया है कि अमरनाथ जाने वाले तीर्थयात्रियों,टूरिस्ट्स,श्रद्धालुओं और किसी हिन्दुस्तानी को कहीं जाने का अधिकार नहीं है?वहां एनआईटी बंद कर दिया गया है । इंटरनेट और मोबाइल बंद है । वहां के पॉलिटिकल लीडर्स और फोर्मर चीफ मिनिस्टर्स हाउस अरेस्ट हैं । क्या हो गया है?क्या पाकिस्तान के साथ कोई जंग शुरू हो गयी है?यह भी हमें पता नहीं है कि पाकिस्तान के साथ कोई जंग शुरू हुई है या नहीं? जम्मू-कश्मीर को कैदखाना बना दिया गया है । यह क्या हो रहा है? …(व्यवधान)
यह क्या हो रहा है? सर,जिस तरीके से यह सरकार एक के बाद एक बिल ला रही है, यह घाटी को और साथ ही साथ हिन्दुस्तान को नए सिरे से तबाह करने की कोशिश कर रहे हैं । हम हिन्दुस्तान को आपसे ज्यादा पसंद करते हैं, प्यार करते हैं और मोहब्बत करते हैं । हिन्दुस्तान हमारा खून है,हिन्दुस्तान हमारी आत्मा है ।…(व्यवधान)

The democratic and Constitutional principles should be adhered to by the Ruling Party as well as by us. …(Interruptions) In Jammu and Kashmir, we have seen that all the educational institutions are closed. More than 100 cricketers are also asked to go out. …(Interruptions) Thousands and thousands of Amarnath Yatris have been asked to go out. Moreover, even the people, who have gone on tour, have been asked to go out. …(Interruptions) What is happening there? What is happening in J & K? Today, they have brought a Bill in the Rajya Sabha without intimating us, the Members of Parliament.

Once again, it is a blow on democracy. It is a black day for us. …(Interruptions)
SHRI SUDIP BANDYOPADHYAY (KOLKATA UTTAR): Sir, what I feel, if we have received any message from the Government this morning itself, then the situation could have been different. Everywhere, the impression is that Kashmir is now burning because there is a ban on movement of people and public meetings. …(Interruptions) When we hear people like Omar Abdulla and Mehbooba Mufti are under house arrest, then, categorically, we become perturbed. What is the situation actually happening? We are all for the unity of the country and for the nation. We stand by Kashmir, Kashmir’s security and Kashmir’s safety.
