16. Appointment of officers for assisting the Board.-
(1)The Government may appoint such number of officers as they think fit for assisting the Board in the exercise of its powers and the performance of its functions under this Act and the schemes.(2)The officers appointed under subsection (1) shall exercise such powers and discharge such duties as may be prescribed.
