Section 56(1) in U.P. Inter-State Migrant Workmen (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 1983
(1)Every contractor shall send half-yearly return in Form XXIII (in duplicate) so as tor each the licensing officer concerned not later than thirty days from the close of the half-year.Note.-"HALF year for the purpose of the rule means a period of six months commencing from 1st January and 1st July, every year."
