Section 3(4) in The Orissa Forest Contract Rules, 1966
(4)Forest Act means in respect of the area transferred from the Presidency of Madras to the Province of Orissa, the Madras Forest Act, 1882, and in respect of the rest of Orissa, Indian Forest Act, 1927 :The words and expressions used in the Indian Forest Act, 1927 and the Madras Forest Act, 1882, not defined in these Rules shall have the meaning, assigned to them therein in regard to the areas to which the said Acts respectively apply.Notes : The term 'Divisional Forest Officer' used in these Rules and in Forest Contract includes, 'District Forest Officer' as defined in Section 2 of the Madras Forest Act.Rules Limiting the Materials Purchased Under a Forest Contract
