26. Repeal.
- The Bengal Shops and Establishments Act, 1940 (Bengal Act XVI) is hereby repealed :Provided that any weekly closing days or any working hours fixed under the Act and in force immediate before the commencement of this Act, may be continued for a period not longer than three months after such repeal.
