Section 66(2) in The Gujarat Town Planning and Urban Development Act, 1976
(2)The State Government, after making such inquiry as it may deem fit, may, if it is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do, by notification, direct that the scheme shall be withdrawn and upon such withdrawal no further proceeding shall be taken in regard to such scheme.
