Section 27(ii) in The Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Service Charges (Levy and Collection) Regulations, 1998
(ii)If the charges due are not paid even after the grace time in the notice specified in Regulations 27(i) the authorised authority may proceed to cut off the water supply and sewerage connections.
