(viii)In making direct recruitment and/or promotions, representation to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, ex-servicemen [physically handicapped, other backward classes] [Inserted by Notification No. RSWC/HO/RSWC (Staff) Regulation 1974/F. 60/10156, dated 20-6-1996, Published in Rajasthan Gazette, Part VII, dated 27-6-1996, page 78, enforcement date is to be notified.] etc. at such percentage of the total number of posts as may be prescribed by the Government of Rajasthan from time to time shall be given, subject to the availability of suitable candidates.
