Section 18(5) in Rules Having The Force of Law and Executive orders Relating to Forests
(5)Any person or persons intentionally disobeying an order or requisition to vacate under sub-rule (2) or (3) shall be liable to a penalty which may extend to two hundred rupees, and, in case such disobedience is continued to a further penalty which may extend to fifty rupees for each day during which such breach continues.(5-a) Any person, who having been once evicted under sub-rule (2) or sub-rule (3) from any land, encroaches on any land over which no person has acquired the right of a proprietor, landholder, or settlement holder, shall on conviction before a Magistrate, be liable to imprisonment which may extend to six months or fine which may extend to one thousand rupees or with both.
