Section 5(10)(a) in The Goa, Daman and Diu Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Rules, 1975

(a)to strike the name of the school off the list of recognised Secondary or Higher Secondary Schools and inform the management of that school accordingly, under intimation to the Director of Education; or
