UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following
O R D E R
Signature Not Verified In order dated 13.10.2014, this Court recorded that a Digitally signed by Om Parkash Sharma Date: 2014.11.01 11:48:07 IST Reason: final report in Case FIR no.483/2011 in P.S. Karimganj, Assam was likely to be submitted in few days before the appropriate court. 2 When we took up the matter today, it is informed by Mr. Shekhar Naphade, learned senior counsel appearing for the respondent No.2 that the said final report has now been submitted to the Court of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Karimganj, Assam, in accordance with the requirement of Code of Criminal Procedure.
In the circumstances, we do not see any reason to keep the present SLP pending. We dispose of the same taking note of the fact that two final reports submitted by the investigating agencies pursuant to the earlier direction of this Court by which the investigation agency opined that neither of the two crimes which were directed to be investigated under the supervision of this Court vide order dated 30.9.2013, there is evidence to proceed further regarding various offences alleged in these two cases.
We therefore, see no reason to keep the SLP pending. We make it clear that if either of the complainant in the above mentioned two criminal cases has any objection to the tenability of the final report, it is open to such complainant to take appropriate action in accordance with the Code of Criminal Procedure.
The Special Leave Petition is accordingly disposed of.
