Section 21(3)(b) in The Punjab Probation of Offenders Rules, 1962

(b)abide by these rules and any instructions issued by the State Government and the Chief Controlling Authority and see that the same are followed by the Probation Officers and the personnel of any institution or other premises referred to in rule 291 under it; and
