Section 46(1) in The Maharashtra Zilla Parishads and Panchayat Samitis Act, 1961
(1)Subject to the provisions of sub-section (2) of section 47, there shall be paid to the President an honorarium of [five thousand rupees] [These words were substituted for the words 'one thousand and five hundred rupees' by Maharashtra 11 of 1994, Section 2.] per month.
