282. Value of the claim.
- The value of the claim in rules 271, 272, 273 and 279 shall be the value stated in the plaint in the case of a suit, the value stated in the memorandum of appeal, in the case of an appeal, the value stated as that of the property in respect of which the application is made in the case of an application for probate or letters of administration, and in other cases, the value as stated in the application if the case is one in which the relief claimed is capable of valuation. Fractions of a rupee shall be omitted from the value of the claim in calculating fees.
