Section 45(iii) in Gujarat Government Rules of Business, 1990
(iii)All matters pertaining to appointments, postings, transfer, promotions, proposals of administrative departments for inflictment of any of the penalties as specified at serial numbers 3 to 8 in rule 6 of the Gujarat Civil Services (Discipline and Appeal) Rules, 1971, in respect of all class-ii officers of the Secretariat Departments except offices not borne on the Secretariat Cadre.
