(2)Compensation not exceeding the value of the hut shall be paid by the Corporation to any person who sustains loss by the destruction of any such hut or shed, but, except as so allowed by the [Commissioner] [This word was substituted for the words 'Chief Executive Officer' by Bombay 79 of 1958, Section 3, Schedule.], no claim for compensation shall lie for any loss or damage caused by any exercise of the power conferred by sub-section (1).
