ORAL ORDER
1. RULE. Learned APP waives service.
2. For the purpose of complying with the sentence of fine imposed upon the petitioner in addition to the main sentence of ten years RI under the NDPS Act, parole leave is sought by the prisoner. He was last admitted to the parole leave between 16/10/2018 and 11/11/2018.
3. In absence of the payment of fine, the prisoner is likely to suffer additional sentence of six months. Thus, the opportunity is required to be given to the prisoner to comply with the sentence of fine. No serious circumstance adverse to the petitioner are pointed out by the learned APP. The applicant is, therefore, ordered to be enlarged on parole leave for a period of two weeks from the date of his actual release on usual terms and conditions, including furnishing a bail bond of Rs.5,000/ (Rupees Five Thousand) to the satisfaction of the jail authority. The applicant shall surrender to the jail authority on expiry of the parole leave. Rule is made absolute to the aforesaid extent.
