Section 44 in The Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University Act, 1989
44. Extension Education programme.
- The University shall establish extension education service, and shall, subject to the provisions in this Act, the Statutes and the Ordinances, make useful information based upon the findings of research available to the people in the rural areas to help to solve their problems. It shall conduct demonstration and training programme, for the benefit of students, extension workers, and other rural people, by establishing regional extension centres and extension services units.
