(1)The Commissioner shall,-(a)carry on the day-to-day administration of the Municipal Corporation;(b)exercise the powers and perform the functions specially conferred or imposed upon him by or under this Act or any other law for the time being in force; and(c)assign the duties and supervise and control the acts and proceedings of all officers and employees of the Municipal Corporation.(2)All officers and employees of the Municipal Corporation shall be subordinate to the Commissioner.Secretary to the Municipal Corporation
