Two petitioners working as Clerks with the Sonepat Central Cooperative Bank Ltd/respondent No.1, in the instant writ petition, are seeking a direction for promoting them as Junior Accountant/Executive Officers w.e.f the dates, when the vacancies belonging to Scheduled Castes/Tribes Category remained vacant as per the Haryana State Central Cooperative Bank's Staff Services (Common Cadre) Rules, 1975.

At the time of hearing, learned Senior counsel for the respondents states that after the present writ petition was admitted on 10.11.1997, petitioner No.1 was promoted as Junior Accountant/Executive Officer on 9.7.1998 and further promoted to the next higher post of Senior Accountant on 2.12.2011 whereas petitioner No.2 was promoted as Junior Accountant/Executive Officer on 25.8.2006 and further promoted to the next higher post of Senior Accountant on 17.8.2012 as per vacancies CWP No.562 of 1997 (O&M) #2# available in their respective quota. He, thus, submits that the present writ petition has become infructuous.

Learned counsel for the petitioners does not dispute the aforesaid position.

In view of the aforesaid agreed stand, present petition is dismissed as infructuous.
