Background
1. The RTI application was filed on 27.07.07. The Appellant requested for information related to tribal allowance against 8 points. The CPIO replied on 18.08.07 providing the information sought. The Appellant filed his first appeal on 05.09.07 again requesting for the missing information. The Appellate Authority replied on 30.11.07 regretting the delay of disposal of appeal and asking the CPIO to take the Appellant's case with the higher Authority for early finalization. The second appeal was filed before the CIC on 03.03.08. The CIC requested him to re-submit the application which the Appellant did on 24.05.08.
2. The Bench of Mrs. Annapurna Dixit, Information Commissioner, heard the matter on December 15, 2008.
3. The Appellant was not present at the hearing.
4. Shri M B Bijekar, CPIO & Senior Superintendant of Pos , Nasik represented the Public Authority.
Decision
5. The Respondent submitted that he had provided all the information against points (i) to (viii). The Commission reviewed the information provided and directs the CPIO to provide a certified copy of the document against points (v) and (vii ) of the RTI application within 15 working days of receipt of this Order.
6. The appeal is disposed off.
