Section 9(1)(b) in Kelavarapalli Reservoir Scheme (Acquisition of Land) Act, 1987

(b)pay the amount to them unless prevented by some one or more of the contingencies mentioned in sub-section (2) of section 22, and where the prescribed authority is so prevented, the provisions of section 22, sub-section (2) (except the second proviso thereto) shall apply to the payment of compensation under that section.
