Judgment / Order 09/09/2020 Mr. Sanjeet Purohit, learned ASG appearing for the AIIMS, New Delhi raised an objection on the last occasion that as per the notification dated 22nd June, 2017 issued by the Central (Downloaded on 10/09/2020 at 08:53:42 PM) (14 of 14) [CW-5192/2020] Government, the jurisdiction to deal with the matters, relating to the recruitment and other incidental matters in relation to the employees of All India Institute of Medical Sciences has been conferred on Central Administrative Tribunal.
Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners have frankly admitted that the jurisdiction to deal with the matters relating to the recruitment and other incidental matters in relation to the employees of AIIMS is with the Central Administrative Tribunal, therefore, they want to withdraw these writ petitions, however, seek liberty for the petitioners to approach the Central Administrative Tribunal for redressal of their grievances.
In such circumstances, these writ petitions are dismissed as withdrawn with the liberty to the petitioners to approach the Central Administrative Tribunal within a period of one month from today.
Needless to say that the limitation shall be exempted for the period these writ petitions were pending before this Court.
