The appellant sought list of 93 lease agreements executed between RINL and various education institutions and other related information.
Relevant facts emerging from hearing:
Both parties are present and heard through video conferencing. The appellant filed an RTI application on 05.04.2014 seeking the above information. On not receiving any response from the CPIO within the prescribed time period, appellant filed first appeal. The FAA did not dispose of the first appeal.
The appellant stated that he had sought list of 93 lease agreements but the same has not been furnished to him till date. The respondent stated that opportunity for inspection was offered to the appellant vide reply dated 12.06.2014 but the said opportunity was not availed by him. He stated that they will provide that list of 93 lease agreements to which the appellant agreed.
Decision:-
After hearing both parties and on perusal of record, the Commission takes on record the statement of the FAA that list of 93 lease agreements will be furnished to the appellant within 2 weeks of receipt of this order, under intimation to the Commission.
The appeal is disposed of accordingly.
