Petitioners are seeking quashing of order dated 25.04.2014 (P-
11) whereby their claim for grant of Master Scale on acquiring higher qualification of Masters has been rejected.
A bare perusal of impugned order shows that petitioners were seeking parity for grant of Master grade from the year 1986. It has been mentioned in the order that the qualifications of Tabla Player is matric pass with SR diploma from any institute recognized by Haryana Education Department. In addition to this, knowledge of Hindi up to Matric standard is also required. The qualifications of tabla player and master posts are different and there is no parity in the qualifications of both the categories. Hence the claim of the petitioners had been rightly rejected.
The present petition is also liable to be dismissed on the ground of delay itself, as the petitioner had approached this Court after a gap of almost 05 years.
This aspect has been considered by this Court in a case of Satyabir and others vs. State of Haryana and others, decided on 1 of 2 ::: Downloaded on - 23-02-2020 18:55:38 ::: CWP No. 3784-2020 2 08.01.2015. This judgment has further been followed by this Court in CWP No. 25502-2015 titled as Jeet Ram and others vs. State of Haryana and others, decided on 05.12.2015. The writ petition was dismissed on the ground of delay by following Satyabir's case (supra) In view of the aforesaid facts and the settled position of law, the present petition is dismissed.
