No. F.30 (69)/MT/DD (SS) /DSW/2019-10/Pt.file-I: 28714–28749.— In exercise of the powers conferred by section 32 read with clause (i) of section 2 of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007, Minister , Department of Social Welfare, Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi hereby makes the rules to amend the Delhi Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens les , 2009 as following, namely :

1. Short title and Commencement: - ( i) These rules may be called the Delhi Maintenance and Welfare of

Parents and Senior Citizens (Amendment) Rules , 2020 .( ii) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the DelhiGazette .

2. Amendment of rule 3 - In the Delhi Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Rules 2009 , in rule 3,-(i) for clause (g ), of sub - rule ( 3 ), the following clause shall be substituted , namely :

“ (g ). The non -official members of the Maintenance and Appellate Tribunal shall be paid sitting allowance as the State Government may determine, but it shall be not more than Rupees Four Thousand per sitting per member” .By Order and in the Name of The Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi,PRAVEEN KUMAR GUPTA , Pr.Secy.
