Section 22(2) in The Punjab Agricultural University Act, 1961

(2)The Research and Educational Institutions of the Department of Agriculture and the Department of Animal Husbandry together with their staff and funds shall be transferred to the Agricultural University on such terms and conditions as may be determined by the State Government in consultation with the Board of Management.
