Section 2(1) in THE CONSTITUTION (SEVENTH AMENDMENT) ACT, 1956
(1)In Article 1 of the Constitution,-(a)for clause (2), the following clause shall be substituted, namely:-"(2) The States and the territories thereof shall be as specified in the First Schedule."; and(b)in clause (3), for sub-clause (b), the following sub-clause shall be substituted, namely:-"(b) the Union Territories specified in the First Schedule; and".
