220. Prohibition against obstructions in streets.
- No one shall build any wall or erect any fence or other [obstruction or projection or make any encroachment] [Substituted for the words 'obstruction, encroachment or projection' by section 112(0 by Act X of 1936.] in or over any street [or any public place, the control of which is vested in the corporation] [Inserted by section 132(1) by Act X of 1936.] except as hereinafter provided.
